Ms. Nancy Wood graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fresno State University with a Bachelors Degree in Social Science and History and a Minor in Biology.
She has her Masters Degree from Humboldt State University in Natural Resources-Fisheries and she is a vocational specialist in Natural Resources and Horticulture.
Wood was the ISTA Outstanding Science Teacher in region 7 in 2004.
Nancy worked in Fish Disease and Nutrition Research at a private research lab in
Hagerman, ID for 7 years.
This is her 22nd year of teaching and her 9th year at Eagle Academy.
She has one daughter, Elisha, who is currently completing her PhD. from Oregon
State University, in Coral Biology.
Ms. Wood enjoys, camping, hiking, back-packing, traveling,
gardening, reading, biking and spending time with her dog, Raven, in her spare time.
She also enjoys sky-diving!
