Barb Spingla grew up in Sacramento, CA. She graduated from U.C. Bekeley with a degree in Forestry. She came to Idaho after graduation to work for the Forest Service. After a career in Forestry, she took time off to raise two kids who are now both teenagers. During that time, she went back to school to get her teacher certification and her master's degree in education.
This is Ms. Spingla's second year at Eagle Academy where she teaches Biology and Earth Science.
In her spare time, she likes to ski, kayak, and camp.
