Helen Ruiz was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but moved to Boise in 3rd grade. She has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from College of Idaho and a Masters in Secondary Education from the University of Idaho.
Ms. Ruiz has taught for 27 years (last seven at EA). She helped write the district curriculum for U.S. History 1-2 as well as the End of Course Exams for U.S. HIstory 1-2, 3-4, and Global Perspectives.
